Things that speed up a quote.
The range, not just the parameter
"Conductivity" could be 0–200 µS/cm on RO permeate or 0–100 000 µS/cm on raw effluent. The range decides the probe, the cell constant and the price.
What it has to talk to
An existing PLC? A BMS on BACnet? Nothing at all yet? That decides whether you need 4–20 mA, RS-485, a converter, or a logger.
Where it will sit
Panel door, DIN rail, wall box or vehicle dash. Cutout size and supply voltage usually follow from that one answer.
